J Smith Enterprises owns and operates McDonald’s restaurants in Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson and the Yorktown Areas.
Owner, John Smith started his McDonald’s venture in 1997 in the Denbigh Blvd., Newport News restaurant after a successful Corporate Career. McDonald’s offered him the best opportunity, enabling him to leverage his Corporate Marketing experience, solid business sense and love of people. John wanted to be part of a Winning Team, so he chose the “Best of the Best”. The rest is history.
Today J Smith Enterprises operates 14 restaurants in Hampton Roads, the largest McDonald’s Franchise Organization on the Peninsula. John’s business mission is: “To strive to be the best and provide meaningful job opportunities for our people while responsibly serving the Communities where we do business. Our People are our most valuable resource.” The Company employs some of the best Managers and Crew in the industry.
