Hugh Fard began his career with McDonald’s in England at the age of 21 as a manager trainee. McDonald’s has provided him opportunities that very few people realize are available to people who want to succeed. During his career he has worked for McDonald’s in America, Europe, and Africa. He now proudly owns and operates 14 stores in the Virginia Beach area.

Kim Henson began working for McDonald’s at the age of 18 as a crew person with a starting wage of $1.90. She received the 2005 Store Manager of the Year Award, and celebrated her 32nd year with McDonald’s in August 2007.

Sean McLeod joined the McDonald’s staff at the age of 17 as a grill person. He made $4.25 an hour. His greatest professional accomplishment is persevering to get where he is today.

In 1995, the $1 million Monopoly winner anonymously mailed the winning game piece to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. McDonald's overcame rules prohibiting transfer of game pieces by donating $1 million to St. Jude.
