- McDonald's Insurance Plan
McDonald's insurance plan provides a menu of health care choices that includes medical, dental/vision and accidental death and term life insurance coverage for you and your family. There are four medical plans to choose from, all of which include prescription drug coverage.
- Free Meals
You are eligible for one free meal for each shift that you work.
- Free Uniforms & Shoes
Each employee is given free uniforms, as well as, Shoes for Crews.
- 401(k)
Once you are eligible, you can contribute up to 50% of your before-tax pay and invest in any or all of seven investment funds. McDonald's will contribute $3 for every $1 you contribute on the first 1% of pay you put in, $1 for each $1 you contribute on the next 4% of pay. If you contribute at least 1%, McDonald's may also add a profit sharing match to your account of up to 4%. You are always 100% vested in your contributions and company contributions.

McDonald's Gold Card is a value-added employment benefit program, designed to reward and thank restaurant crew and managers by offering them, in addition to the McDonald's meal discount, special discounts at more than 60 nationally recognized retaliers and service providers.
- $100 book reimbursment
Allows for crew who are in school to have McDonald's pay for $100 worth of textbooks for school.
- Credit Union
You can join the Corporate America Family Credit Union and take advantage of its wide variety of products and services, including checking and savings accounts and competitive car loans.
- Mc$ave Money Market
Mc$ave is a money marekt fund for employees of McDonald's designed to help you save on a regular, consistent basis. After-tax contributions can be made through payroll deductions or by check. You always have easy access to the money in your Mc$ave account and can start, stop, or change your contruibtions at any time.
- MCDirect Shares
MCDirect Shares is a direct stock purchase plan that lets you build ownership in McDonald's and reinvest dividends in the company. You can purchase shares of McDonald's common stock through payroll deductions, withdrawals from a bank account, or by check.

- Child Care discount program
McDonald's has agreement with three national child care providers - Childtime Child Care, KinderCare and La Petite Academy- for discounts to help you afford the cost of child care while you work.
- Scholarship Program
McDonald's is committed to our employee's education. As part of that commitment, we have a McDonald's National Employee Scholarship Program. Each year, McDonald's selects one crew employee from each state to receive a $1,000 scholarship. The McDonald's crew employee exemplifying the higest commitment to school, work and volunteer activites is names the McScholar of the Year and recieves a $5,000 scholarship.
